We wish all of our cadets, staff, volunteers, and families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. Thank you for another great training year.
Regular training will resume in September. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year of learning, leadership, and adventure.

Since 1954, 588 Eric Simms Squadron has been dedicated to developing leadership, citizenship, teamwork, and aviation knowledge in youth ages 12–18. Through challenging training, community service, outdoor activities, and aviation opportunities, we empower young people to become confident leaders and engaged citizens. Captain Mélanie Bigras, Commanding Officer of 588 Eric Simms Squadron, is a dedicated leader committed to developing youth through leadership, citizenship, teamwork, and aviation. Her passion for the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program continues to inspire cadets to achieve their full potential and serve their communities with pride.
